Okay, so everything's settled down a bit and people have stopped trickling in. Great. What a situation we're in, right? We can't even wander too far away or we're teleported right back to the group.

[She's definitely going to be testing those boundaries later.]

Anyhow, I'm willing to accept that this probably isn't a Rig mission now. Wherever we are, it's not the same world. The level of technology isn't too high either, but we know someone out there has a radio transmitter or else the big yellow guy wouldn't keep playing songs at us.

So, since we're stuck together for the foreseeable future, it's probably time we settle in and get to know one another. Names, skillsets, dreams, etc. You know, important things. Don't hold back, we're probably going to need to know each other pretty well if we're going to survive here.

For example, I'm Tenten. I'm a chunin, a journeyman ninja, from Konoha, the Village Hidden in the Leaves. I'm good with pretty much any weapon you'd care to name, pure hand to hand combat, and I'm experienced in wilderness survival. I'm also qualified to lead small teams.

My dream was to be a legendary ninja. I'd say my biggest weakness is, well. [She gestures to her missing eye. It's pretty obvious.] But it doesn't slow me down much.

I just got here from the Rig, so if I suddenly get electrocuted and die, well. Um. It's unfortunate, but probably to be expected. Jorgmund doesn't like loose assets, after all.

Hullo, I'm Cammie. Back when a buncha us were on the rig I was mostly useful 'cause I'm a whiz at hacking and engineering. Reason a lot of us pretty much know this isn't a rig thing is 'cause I figured out how to shut the collars down and we blew the joint. Tech's my thing.

Back home, I'm sometimes a robot. I'm one of a team, we upload our minds into big mecha frames so we can fight shit normal soldiers can't.

We also operate as a defensive force in the even those new civilizations end up not being friendly.

I'm usually an engineer and a helmsman, but I've also seen ground combat.

[Dan's hesitant around introducing himself to the group at large, not out of shyness but because the rumblings of organizing this ragtag band into something more structured sets him on edge. Dan deeply dislikes the idea of being told what to do. Having spent more than a year on the Rig, his skepticism around leadership has turned into full-on antipathy, amplified by the idea that once again, he can't just run away when he wants to peace out.

But he wants to know everyone here. He wants everyone to be cooperating and keeping each other safe. So he overrides his suspicion and hops onto one of the mirrors, talking with that same flat gravelly voice that sounds like a lifelong case of MRSA.]

I can trap and hunt and know a lot of wilderness survival, so you'll see me around camp trying to be useful. I should state up front that back home, they call me a "monster hunter", but that's more a job title than a description.
