001: GROUP INTRODUCTIONS

Okay, so everything's settled down a bit and people have stopped trickling in. Great. What a situation we're in, right? We can't even wander too far away or we're teleported right back to the group.

[She's definitely going to be testing those boundaries later.]

Anyhow, I'm willing to accept that this probably isn't a Rig mission now. Wherever we are, it's not the same world. The level of technology isn't too high either, but we know someone out there has a radio transmitter or else the big yellow guy wouldn't keep playing songs at us.

So, since we're stuck together for the foreseeable future, it's probably time we settle in and get to know one another. Names, skillsets, dreams, etc. You know, important things. Don't hold back, we're probably going to need to know each other pretty well if we're going to survive here.

Normal as in commonplace? No, not really. And not natural, either. But normal as in "we can live perfectly happy and healthy immortal lives even if we do suck blood or turn into wolves on the full moon", then yes.

[Caroline looks a little annoyed anyway, mostly because she doesn't feel like she needs to be reminded that people prefer to keep their blood on the inside. Caroline reminds herself of that every second of the day that she's around people flaunting their jugulars; she's just so good at keeping that in mind that it doesn't become a problem.

We've already offered to do the Bambi diet. [She's speaking for Kevin now too, sorry about it, kiddo.] Until there's a reason for all of you to think that we can't manage that, it isn't an issue. We won't let it be.

I hadn’t heard about the offer, so it’s not as known as you think it is.

I just mean we've been talking about it on this...mirror forum. Mirrorspace? I don't know, I'll come up with something catchy. [Surely there's a joke in here to be mined.]

Anyway, the vampires here can handle ourselves without going into a blood frenzy, I promise. And if any other vampires step out of line, I'm happy to handle them. Mentoring other vampires into not hurting people is sort of my calling.
